Acts 2:17
[17]And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
We all recognize that it is important to pay attention to visions we receive during the day. They give us a glimpse into the spirit realm, and we know we should write them down, seek to understand them, and apply their message and insights to our lives. In the Bible, the words dream and vision are used almost interchangeably states Dr. Charity Kayemba In her book " Hearing God through your dreams"In Job it says: “In a dream, a vision of the night, when sound sleep falls on men…” ( Job 33:15). Again, in Isaiah, the same phrase is used: it “will be like a dream, a vision of the night” (Isa. 29:7). The bible also declares that “the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a night vision,” and later, “I kept looking in the night visions…” (Dan. 2:19; 7:13). Hence the scriptures clearly shows that dreams are essentially visions we have at night. Due to our busy schedules during the day, God use the quiet night to minister to our inner man through dreams.Taking into account that in the night our cognitive mind is rested, sleep creates opportunity for higher realms to communicate to us through our dreams. Most people take Dreams for granted, thinking that it may just be an indication of the days activities or over eating, however the holy Scriptures indicate that God communicated with the prophets of old , and holy men and women through dreams. "Dream life is still real. God is still speaking. We are still engaging the supernatural realm," Dr. Charity Kayemba declares in her book. John 17:3

[3]And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
The above Scripture indicates that it is God's desire for humanity to know him. One way God designed for man to know him is through visions of the night commonly known as dreams. Unfortunately most sections of the Christian Church has either ignored or feared to teach on the subject due to the murky waters and possible abuse of the subject. Yet the core Christian book; the bible is full of dreams, right from the Old Testament to the New. Coincidentally cults and occultic groups are having a 'fields day', misleading millions all over the world. Meanwhile the answers to dream interpretation are all in the Bible. We therefore need to take our dreams more seriously and desire to learn to know there interpretation .
Psalm 139
How precious are Your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, You are still with me! (Psalm 139:17-18 NLT)I
The Psalmist states that God is with him while he sleeps and reveals His thoughts to him in the night, of course through dreams.
Dreams will reveal God's thoughts for us. Through the night vision he will communicate direction, encouragement,ideas and warnings.
Dr Charity Kayemba observes " When we sleep at night we are connecting to the very thoughts of God—the ones He is thinking about us right now." " If for no other reason than this, we want to understand our dreams because we want to know God’s thoughts" ". We want to hear what He has to say about us, about life, about His world. We want to listen to His ideas, feel His heart, and understand His point of view We want to know Him, and listening to our dreams is a simple yet strategic way to do just that." Therefore from the Scriptures will learn that God has been communicating with us all along even when he seemed quiet. We didn't just expect him to communicate through this easy restful method of night vision. We expected a more complex method maybe.The challenge maybe fluency in this Spiritual language of dreams. You maybe able to hear someone speak in Japanese, but unfortunately if you are not fluent in the Japanese language , it will be a waste of time. Similarly we require to be fluent in the Spiritual Dream Language for it to be helpful to us.
